2 Easy Ways to Do Ombré Nails at Home

An Ombré nail is a popular nail art trend that will never out of date. It can perfectly match other styles in one set. And it has so much fun that you can choose any colors you like to blend! The most important thing is that it’s easier than you think!

So, today we are going to introduce you 2 easy ways of doing Ombré nails at home! Let’s learn them step by step.

⭐Easy Ombré with Makeup Sponges

Nail products you need:
Base & Top Coat
2 different colors nail gel polishes
Cuticle Guard
Makeup Sponges
UV/LED Nail Lamp

  1. Apply a thin layer of base coat on your prepped nails and cure for 60s.
  2. Apply a liquid cuticle guard around your cuticle and wait 1 minute to air dry. This is to avoid applying gel on your skin and it saves a lot of time to clean the cuticle area when you finish the design.
  3. Brush the two colors of gel polishes between each other on the sponge.
  4. Dab the sponge on your nail and move in a zig zag motion to blend the two colors naturally.
  5. Cure it for 60 seconds.
  6. Repeat 3-5 step to make your desirable blending effect.
  7. Apply top coat to make your Ombré nails smooth and shiny.
  8. A simple two colors Ombré design completed!

Tips:
Don’t make your sponge too wet with the gel polishes. You need to see the holes on the sponge. Dab it on a paper towel to remove the extra gel if you make it too wet.
Curing between each layer is a must step, or it will be a mess.
You can even make this method easier by using 3 different colors in the same color system. The medium color should be similar to the mixed color of the other two.
